Playing Field

The playing field is situated on edge of the village, surrounded by trees, overlooking the River Orwell. It is accessed via a bridleway opposite the Playgroup in Woodlands.

The playing field is run by the Playing Field Management Committee and the Parish Council are trustees.

                                                                                  UPDATE

The Playing Field Management Committee has received a grant of £750.00 from Councillor David Wood (Suffolk County Council) in support of new outdoor gym equipment.

The Committee has also applied for a 6.5k grant from Vindor (local waste supplier) which if awarded will go towards the new outdoor gym.

Furthermore, the Committee has also applied for a 10k grant from the National Lottery for a zip wire.

The committee hopes to hear about the grants in May.

The sports pavilion contains a kitchen/meeting room with ladies & men's changing rooms.

It has a small children's play with a climbing frame, swings, slide
and a seesaw.
